Dr. Dana Salgado

Dr. Dana Salgado has been practicing in the Albany area for nearly 20 years. Prior to having her own office she practiced at an Ophthalmology office where she honed her medical skills. Dr. Salgado is now serving her 2nd 5 year term on the New York State Board of Optometry. She is also a member of the national association : ARBO (Association of the Regulatory Boards of Optometry). She was published in Modern Optometry in June 2020. Dr. Salgado also sits on the Board of Directors for the Albany Executive Association.

Dr. Salgado specializes in multifocal contact lenses and is a foremost leader in the area with this specialty. She regularly speaks on behalf of contact lens companies to other optometrists across the United States.
